Vegan Kitchen [vee-guh n, kich- uh n]
the place where you rock your plant-based lifestyle!
Hi there, I’m Randi!
I’m a vegan recipe developer, food photographer, and author of Bohemian Vegan Kitchen. I’m also a full-time wifey, mom, and homeschooler of three amazing kiddos.
I started this little food blog back in 2011, when I was just beginning my plant-based journey. Over the years, BVK has gone through a lot of changes, but one thing that hasn’t changed is my love of sharing delicious food—food that makes you feel good and is secretly good for you.
Because isn’t it like music to your ears when you hear those special words: “Wow, this is vegan!?”
If you were to visit my house, you would be welcomed with plenty of food. That’s because sharing food and conversation is one of the ways I like connecting with people. It’s my way of saying, “I like you” and “let’s be friends.” It’s also my way of showing others that plant-based does not mean bland– truly, vegan food can be just as delicious (if not, better) as conventional favorites.
All that to say, I’m still a human being, and during the week I want dinner to be quick, easy, and tasty like every other mom that has a full schedule and children to pick up after.
That’s why BVK showcases easy recipes that do not require a whole lot of effort or time, but tastes like it did.
You’ll also find plenty of comfort food recipes, healthy recipes, and of course, delicious vegan desserts. Because at the end of the day, you should feel good about what you eat and how you feel, regardless of crazy schedules.
Calling all comfort food lovers!! Whether you’re craving all the cozy feels of classic feel-good recipes, or want a healthier version of old (and new) favorites, Vegan Comfort Food has you covered.
