Raw chocolate avocado pudding is the perfect healthy breakfast or afternoon pick-me-up! Using fresh avocados, raw chocolate, dates, and vanilla, you get a delicious treat that you don’t feel guilty about, ever! Add a scoop of powdered supplements for an added bonus.
In a food processor, combine the flesh of the avocados, dates, cacao, vanilla, and E3Live (if using).
Run food processor while slowly adding the filtered water, continue running until smooth and the mixture has a “pudding” texture. Divide between cups.
Notes
About the Ingredients:
Using fresh, ripe avocados will give your pudding the creamiest texture and best taste. You want your avocados in that “sweet spot” where they are easily mashed, yet not rancid (with brown spots in the flesh). Using hard avocados will give your pudding a strange taste, so choose avocados wisely.
If you don’t want to use dates or are looking for a cheaper option (sometimes they can get pricey!), try using a natural liquid sweetener of you choice, such as honey or maple syrup. Add until sweet enough for your tastes.
Raw chocolate is super healthy, containing magnesium and other healthy nutrients. If you don’t have raw chocolate (cacao), you can use regular baking cocoa, but keep in mind that this will not give you that health factor.
Optional add-ins or swaps: Want more in your chocolate avocado pudding? Try adding in or swapping these:
Coconut milk or water. Instead of using filtered water, coconut milk will make it even creamier! You can also use coconut water if you just want added health benefits.
Frozen fruit. If the avocado flavor stands out for you, one way to help mask it is by adding a handful of frozen berries, like strawberries or raspberries.
